# Web Agent

## Web Chat Setup

> **Who can use this?**

> * Gallabox users with **Admin** role.
> * Plans: Available on all Gallabox plans.

### Plan Availability

Web Chat — including the Chat AI Agent — is available on every Gallabox plan (Basic, Essential, Advanced, Enterprise), per [gallabox.com/pricing](https://gallabox.com/pricing). Knowledge Base for the AI Agent is also available on every plan; what scales by tier is storage capacity (10 MB → 100 MB → 1 GB → custom) and supported file types, not access to the feature itself. ### What is Web Chat?

Web Chat is a chat widget you embed on your website. Visitors can message your business directly from the site, and those conversations land in Gallabox's unified inbox alongside WhatsApp and Instagram.

Unlike WhatsApp and Instagram (Meta platforms), Web Chat is fully controlled by Gallabox:

* **No 24-hour messaging window** — reply whenever you need to.
* **No Meta Business verification** — configure the widget and it's live.
* **Built-in visitor tracking** — current page, time on site, approximate location, device type.
* **Reactive only** — the widget can auto-open after a delay, but the visitor must send the first message. Gallabox cannot proactively message a website visitor outside an active chat session.

### Prerequisites

* Admin access to your Gallabox workspace.
* Admin access to your website's HTML/CMS, to paste an embed script.
* A Gallabox account (Web Chat works even on a free trial).

### How to Create a Web Chat Agent

#### Step 1 — Open Web Agents

From the left sidebar, click the **Web** icon. This opens **Web → Web Agents**\

#### Step 2 — Create Agent

On the **AI Agents & Bots** list (scoped to Web), click **+ Create Agent**\

#### Step 3 — Name your Agent

In the creation wizard (step 3/4, "Let's make this agent yours"):

1. Enter an **Agent name**
2. Web agent requires a website URL , no description field is allowed like Whatsapp or Instagram agents.
3. Click **Create agent →**\

### Testing Your Setup

1. Open the page where you added the embed script.
2. Confirm the chat launcher appears (position is configurable — see Widget Configuration doc).
3. Send a test message.
4. Confirm the conversation appears in your Gallabox inbox under the Web channel.

If the widget doesn't appear, check the browser console (F12 → Console) for blocked-script errors, and confirm the embed snippet was copied in full.

### Multiple Websites

Create a separate Web Chat agent per website or brand. Each agent has its own embed script, widget configuration, and conversation history.
