Pre-requisites to get started with your own number
Integrate WhatsApp Business with Gallabox! Learn how to authenticate & connect your number for seamless communication.
To integrate your WhatsApp Business account with Gallabox, you will need to:
Authenticate your phone number.
This can be done through a call or SMS to check if the number is working or not. Your phone number must not be associated with a WhatsApp Business Mobile App or a WhatsApp Business Account hosted by another business service provider at the time of integration.

Switch from WhatsApp Business Mobile App (if applicable)
In case your business has an active WhatsApp account on a mobile device and you would like to use the same number for WhatsApp API, you need to delete the WhatsApp account for that number to connect with the WhatsApp API.
Navigate to the WhatsApp app > Settings > Account > Delete my account.
If you wish to retain the Business WhatsApp Number, you have to activate a New Phone Number for WhatsApp API.
Authenticate with your Facebook Business Account.
This is recommended to ensure that you can use your existing Facebook Business Account for your business. If you do not have a Facebook Business Account, you can sign up for one while connecting your number.
Please note that:
You will not be able to use WhatsApp on your phone after integration, and your previous conversation history/contacts will not be migrated to Gallabox.
If you wish to move back to WhatsApp Business or Individual WhatsApp Mobile App post integrating with Gallabox, you will need to contact Gallabox support.
