# Drive traffic to your WhatsApp number using Magic Link

Gallabox's [**WhatsApp Magic Link**](#user-content-fn-1)[^1] feature allows your customers to start a chat with your business without having to save your phone number in their phone's address book. This is a convenient way for your customers to contact you, and it can help you to increase customer engagement.

When a customer clicks on a **Magic Link**, they will be automatically redirected to a WhatsApp chat with your business. This is a quick and easy way for your customers to get in touch with you, and it can help you to resolve their issues quickly and efficiently.

### **Create WhatsApp Magic Link**

* If you have a Gallabox Account, you can create the magic link right from your dashboard. Click on **Create Now**, a pop-up will open. Select the Channel, write the customized message, and customize the link. 

  Use `https://wa.pro/<number>` where the `<number>` is a full phone number in international format.&#x20;

Remove any zeroes, brackets, or dashes when adding the phone number in international format. Use: `https://wa.pro/91XXXXXXXXXX`Don't use: `https://wa.pro/+91-(XXX)XXXXXXX`

* The other way to create a magic link is to go to [Gallabox Link Generator Webpage](https://gallabox.com/whatsapp-link-generator) and follow the below steps:

**Step 1**: Type your *country code*, followed by your **WhatsApp Business Number**. Type the phone number which requires the link to be generated. Remember to enter the correct country code.&#x20;

**Step 2**: Add a **personal message** (optional) This step is optional, but it is a great way to personalize your user's experience. E.g “Hello, I am interested to know more about your business”.&#x20;

**Step 3**: Click on the “**Generate WhatsApp Chat Link**” button to get your unique link! The generator creates a shortened link plus a QR code for you to download.
