Push Notifications

Push notifications are a fundamental component of Gallabox's communication and collaboration capabilities. They keep you informed and engaged, ensuring that you are always in the loop, no matter where you are or what device you are using.

It is a manual switch that can be turned ON and OFF by the user.

If you are facing any issues with the Push Notifications, here are the steps to change your default notifications settings in Chrome.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. Select the option 'Sites can ask to send notifications' as your default setting and choose the sub option 'Collapse all requests in the address bar'.

  3. Next to 'Allowed to send notifications', click Add.

  4. Enter the web address - https://www.app.gallabox.com.

You will now receive the notifications on chrome when you are not another tab.

In case you are not able to receive the notifications in your chrome browser, check if the chrome blocked https://www.app.gallabox.com from sending notifications and change it to 'allow'.

Here are other things you can try if the notifications are still not popping up.

  1. Try turning off and turning on the Push Notification switch again in Gallabox.

  2. If you are on "Do not disturb" mode. All the notifications will be stacked in the notification bar instead of showing on the browser. Configure the DND mode properly.

  3. Check if the Notification settings in your Operating system is Turned On for your browser.

Change Password

Changing your Gallabox account password is a straightforward process that can be done for security or routine maintenance reasons. Here's how you can update your password:

  1. Go to Change Password Option as shown in the GIF.

  1. To change password, enter Current Password, the New Password, and re-enter the New Password to Confirm. You will also have the option to logout from all devices.

When you change the password, you will logout from all the logged in devices by default.

Account Status

Account Status refers to the operational state of your Gallabox account. In an active account, you'll receive all notifications, and conversation assignments will work as expected. Conversely, in an inactive account, you won't receive notifications, and assigning conversations won't be possible.

It's a crucial setting to ensure you stay updated and maintain control over your account's functionality.

It is a manual switch that can be turned ON and OFF by the user.

At the top right, click More Settings.

Click Privacy and security Site Settings Notifications.
